EMA Hydroelectric Power Project Passed Government Acceptance Test

On May 21, 2015, SEMA Hydroelectric Power Plant Project contracted by Orient as EPC project successfully passed the Acceptance test held by the Ministry of Energy of Turkey and obtained the Acceptance Certificate.
SEMA Hydroelectric Power Plant is equipped with two Kaplan units and unit capacity of 8.7MW. The contract was signed in June, 2013 and both units are put into commercial operation within 23 months despite of the harsh and complicated working conditions. All Units are in good condition in terms of output, efficiency, vibration, noise, swing and the temperature of upper, lower & turbine guide bearing and thrust bearing, as well as the temperature of stator and rotor, all such characteristics meet the international standards and technical requirements.
The Government Acceptance Certificate stands for the successful completion of SEMA project. It shows our comprehensive strength in terms of design, manufacturing, site installation and service as well as project management. It will further enhance ORIENT’s brand and reputation in the Turkey Hydropower market.
